August 2020 GENERAL DESCRIPTION (PURPOSE OF POSITION):
Provide on-site CNC machine service and technical support to customers.
Such tasks include:
preventive maintenance, machine installation, and the diagnosis and repair of installed equipment.
DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Install a variety of Excellon machines and controls in customer facilities domestically.
Determine upon installation if equipment meets specifications and correct if required.
Complete preventive maintenance task as called for on PM check lists.
Resolve technical problems and improve performance of equipment at our installed base in the local region.
Respond promptly to customer problem calls to prevent extended downtime.
This may require working and/or traveling outside regular business hours.
Apply knowledge and ability to use a variety of hand tools; operate test equipment such as DVMs (Digital Volt Meters) and oscilloscopes.
Adhere to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations and follow those specific safety policies and procedures as required by each customer.
Order parts and or supplies as neededto complete the work required.
Use Windows Excel, Word and Outlook to maintain accurate records as it pertains to all aspects of the job.
Generate service reports, expense reports and mileage reports.
Maintain a professional manner and appearance while on the job to convey a positive and professional company image toour customers.
Travel to customer locationsas needed to complete services needed.
Ensure that assigned projects are completed on schedule.
Complete all required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
Ability to travel internationally is a plus.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or equivalent2 Year technical degree in digital electronics or a level of experience that provides the equivalent skill set.
Valid Driver's LicenseCompletion of Excellon's Laser Safety Training as provided during employee orientation at the factory.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Be open minded and flexible demonstrating the ability to learn on the jobHave a positive outlook and willingness to work in a team environment Oral communication skills Written Communication SkillsDemonstrate good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work effectively.
Must be able to effectively work with deadlines and submit reports and other work related items in a timely fashion.
Computer literacy and the use of software applications as required ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Regular working hours are 8 hours per day but occasionally may require some overtime due to increase in work volume and/or project deadlines.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
