Basic Job Functions
Troubleshoot and solve our more difficult machine/control related problems. Must be good at distinguishing problems as they relate to electrical, electronic, software and mechanical
Selection and testing of electrical components from vendors
Design test equipment used to test our production hardware
Design PCB boards
Design electrical interface between controls and machines
Knowledge/Education Requirements
BS or MS in EE
15
years of experience
Very familiar using oscilloscopes
Familiar with using logic analyzers
Good understanding of CNC systems as it relates to motors, encoders, servo's, etc.
Good communication skills in order to interact with managers and other engineers
Programming of FPGA's
Ability to manage and drive projects
Good programming skills in QuickBASIC or C & C++
Familiar with PADs PCB layout software
Labview experience is desirable
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
