In this role, you will be primarily responsible for inspecting and reviewing incoming and outgoing loads, enforcing safety standards & operating procedures, and assisting the Yard Foreman in assuring that all shop and field work complies with all regulatory standards DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Follow all company safety rules.
Inspect each inbound shipment to ensure that the drivers paperwork reflects what was picked up from job sites.
Participate in safety meetings and branch audits.
Promote and actively participate in the company Health and Environmental, Safety and Security Programs.
Maintain the yard equipment in safe operating condition per company and OSHA standards.
Keep supplies ready by inventorying stock.
Assure each shipment that leaves yard has been tested and is compliant with all safety and regulatory requirements.
Keep the Yard Foreman informed of any performance issues.
Oversee the preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance for all rental fleet equipment assigned to the branch.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical and regulation publications.
Report the progress of daily projects to the Yard Foreman.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY
Responsibilities:

Be physically able to routinely lift 70 pounds but are expected to not lift anything over 50 pounds on a recurring basis.

Close vision; Distance vision; Color vision; Peripheral vision; Depth perception and ability to adjust focus The employee must frequently wear Trench Shoring Company mandated safety equipment (including but not limited to high-visibility vest, hard helmet, approved safety glasses and safety-toe boots).

Qualifications:
2 years related experience Certificates, licenses and registrations required:
Must possess a valid and clean commercial Class C Driver's License issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles.
Skilled in diagnosis and repair of shoring equipment Fluent in English & Spanish Other skills required:
Forklift operation.
Time management skills to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to anticipate and creatively solve practical problems.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Quick Apply.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
